Nowadays, because of the overabundance of stress in our modern lives, we tend to ignore its signs and symptoms. Hence, the environment we are living now is constantly interchanging, so is our ability to respond to stress in a way that it affects the individual’s capability to cope within its environment. Stress -as a matter of fact, is a natural force, a reaction of an individual to the external world.

Oftentimes this is perceived as a negative experience, but, in a biological point of view it can also be a positive or neutral experience. People perceive stress as a physical, mental, or emotional strain felt by somebody that is usually caused by anxiety or more often by overwork. It may also cause such symptoms as raised blood or depression. It is usually accompanied with the feeling cramped up during working hours, or difficulty maintaining eating habits, difficulty sleeping, and difficulty concentrating. Usually overstressed promotes gaining weight involuntarily. So if you ever felt so strained just by the sight of piled paper works and files, then you need to watch out for you could be experiencing stress. But in a positive point of view, because of the constant shift of our daily lifestyle, stress is a good reaction. For it keeps you reminded of your mental and physical limitation in working. It is a survival instinct that humans acquired from the evolutionary changes which keeps us from draining all our emerging instantly without even noticing it. So if you are feeling stressed up from work, just sits down or takes a nap and let your bodily functions do what they are supposed to do.
